The Barbados sailing season usually begins in the middle of January with the Taylor’s Cycle Centre sponsored Regattas, all of which are sailed on Sundays.

The first of these is the J24 Regatta which comprises three races in Carlisle Bay. This is then followed by the Dinghy Regatta which is sailed in Carlisle Bay over two Sundays and comprises ten races in total.

Finally the Offshore Regatta sees the racer/cruiser boats, together with some J24’s, sailing a single race of 2 to 3 hours, usually along the South coast of Barbados as well as in Carlisle Bay.
